On release the wine has a bright ruby hue. Its vibrant aromas and flavours suggest black cherries, blackberries, raspberries, mulberries and purple plums. There are intertwining hints of grilled mushrooms, liquorice and black olives. The wine is rich, yet velvety and elegant with a core of fine grained, ripe tannins which help to draw out its lingering flavour.
Colour: Brilliant deep red colour, with ruby hues. Nose: Complex and delicate nose of red fruit (blackcurrant, plum), spices and a delicate hint of vanilla. Palate: A powerful palate which presents mature tannins. The attack is nice and plump and gives way to a long fruity finish. Recommendations: Serve with red meats, white meats, cooked meats, quails and even boletus.
Colour: Deep dark crimson. Aroma: Brooding, complex nose. Hints of wild berry, blackcurrant and leather. Palate: A full-bodied red wine with good concentration of flavours. Sweet fruit on entry with flavours of wild berry, Doris plum and earthy undertones. The wine has lovely soft tannins. Food match: Enjoy with meat, cheese platters or tapas. ABV: 14%
