Chateau Lestage Simon Haut Medoc 2015 Red Wine Gift Box 750ml

Chateau Lestage Simon 2015 has a lovely garnet colour with purple tints. The nose, complex and fruity, offers delicate red fruit and spicy scents. On the palate, the wine is rich and well-balanced. The attack, fruity,charming and rich, delivers blackberry and liquorice aromas. The first part of the rather precipitous harvest was deliberately under-extracted to allow the fine, pure Merlot fruit to show at its best. The second part was denser in style and has now been married into the final blend, which will be of extreme finesse. It is resting quietly in 410 French oak barrels, of which 80% are new.
