A combination of ten vintages from Glenrothes, using whiskies that are said to some of the finest examples of their individual vintages. The first release was made up of whiskies from 1989 (said to offer dried fruit and oak notes), 1992, 1997, 1998 (over a quarter of the vatting with plenty of vanilla), 2000, 2001, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 (bringing uplifting citrus elements). Bourbon cask maturation and an aged oloroso sherry finish produce a honeyed sweetness that offer notes of warm spice, banana, soft citrus and a finish of freshly ground coffee and dark chocolate.
COLOUR: Amber gold. NOSE: Aromas of vanilla spice, citrus and a hint of light smoke. TASTE: Cinnamon, pears, pecans and toffee fudge. CASK FINISH: Jura Journey is matured in American White Oak ex-bourbon barrels. ABV:40%
