Mac's Gold is the talisman of the Mac's family, an all malt lager brewed naturally since 1983 with hints of citrus and sweet malts. Brewed without artificial influence since 1983, Mac's Gold remains ahead of the curve, at the bleeding edge (or whatever other piece of metaphorical excess is fashionable this week) thanks to its delicate caramel sweetness and crisp, clean aftertaste. Connoisseurs will note that the mid-palate bitterness and hints of citrus has not been tinkered with. Goes with subtle chicken and fish dishes e.g. smoked salmon & cream cheese on crusty bread. Alcohol by Volume 4.0%
